After a long time waiting for the internet (2 extra days than scheduled and $200 in discounts) we're back online.
This picture sums up our 1st 2 weeks here I think. Do I look tired?? You can sort of see Haley's little fold open bed that she slept in while waiting for our stuff, luckily she didn't seem to mind it too much.
I made Wes take this picture before he left for his first day of work, doesn't he look totally professional and manly? He loves his job and I love his job. He leaves here a little before 8, drives 3 minutes to work, comes home for lunch and is home usually by 5:30. It's totally awesome; we know he definitely lucked out coming to Allen.
The move really tired her out.
Haley update: She's growing like crazy. She's 9 1/2 pounds and outgrowing her newborn stuff and almost outgrown the first diaper size, we're so proud. It's also fun because she's getting more alert and looking around at everything. Her hair is still the brown/blond mix and sometimes I think I see (or perhaps I'm imagining) a red tint to it; it's still as crazy as ever though, she needs a hair stylist already (and I certainly don't qualify).
Her hand is almost always somewhere near her face. If we trap it in the swaddle she'll do all she can to get it out... pretty darn cute!
The pacifier is a blessing and curse. So glad when it helps her to stop crying or suck herself to sleep, but then the constant going back and forth to the room when it drops out of her mouth is not so fun. Can't wait until she's able to hold it in herself (it is a little funny when it barely drops out and it's teasing her by touching the side of her mouth and her tongue is going crazy trying to get it).

We're way jealous of Wes' work schedule and commute! What a nice life you have.

I'm so glad that you are settling in...Wes's job sounds perfect -- I wish Mark had those hours! Matthew is always gnawing on his hand too and will do the same as Haley -- fight a swaddled blanket until his hand is finally free!
Oh my word, she is getting so big! I didn't think it was possible but she is actually getting cutter!
How nice to be settled and to have a husband who is around.
