First Photo Shoot

My dear friend Abby did me the gigantic favor of taking my new baby's first pictures (good ones, not the ones they take in the hospital that I was annoyed with because they just kept coming in and I knew it wasn't because they wanted me to have beautiful pictures of my precious baby, they just wanted my money).  I think they turned out beautifully, thank you Abby!  Here are just a few.

Progression of sisterly love

First, "I'm holding her, weird."

Fourth, done.  Quickly pushing her off of her lap.  (I also like this picture because I think Audrey looks sort of like a Simpson's character in it.)

But for the most part Haley has been doing really well, she takes every opportunity to bring her baby sister anything she can.  Here she has brought her the tv remote and a shirt from Wes' drawer.

Little and Big

First, look how tiny Audrey looks.  I know, she is small, but next to Wes' hands she looks really small.

On a similar note, Haley is huge.  Just as everyone told me, I came home and all of a sudden my little baby Haley weighs a ton and is practically an adult.

She's having fun with all the new baby stuff around.  The actual baby part of the "baby stuff" is going as well as can be expected.  We're working on the "soft" hands (feet, head, blanket, doll, or anything that can bonk the baby) and by the way it's going, we'll still be working on it with baby #3.

Introducing...faces of Audrey

Two-ey- update: Audrey Alice

Here are the first pictures of our little babe.  She is adorable.  She arrived without complication and is perfectly healthy.  She weighed in at 7 lbs. even and 20 inches long, her little legs look like tooth pics with skin.  She has a lot of hair for a newborn but not as much as her sister, I don't think I'll be able to clip bows into it for a while (obviously something I noticed within the first minute).  She's crying more than Haley did, eating better and I can already tell has her own little personality.  We haven't completely settled on a name yet, we came to the hospital with a handful of them and were hoping one would just clearly fit.  Not the case, yet.  We're trying different ones out every few hours, I think I've made up my mind but right now Wes is sleeping on the chair next to me so I can't ask him if he's ready to commit to it or not.  I'll post again in a little bit once we've decided (and we have to decide in the next few hours because I think we're going home today and we have to fill out the birth certificate info).  I can't believe how are lives have changed in a relatively short amount of time, but we wouldn't have it any other way, we surely feel blessed.
