Here in TX

We made it to Texas; I can't say it was the most stress free thing we've ever done but we're all here in one piece and getting settled. We're really excited about the area we're living, here is the run down of all the important things: Target, 2 min. away; Super WalMart, 5 min. away (for our VA friends- I paid $1.99 for a gallon of milk yesterday!); craft/fabric store, around the corner; Wes' work, 3 min. down the road. We won't have our stuff for several days but the air mattress wasn't that bad last night and Kaity loaned us some awesome camp chairs so we pretty much have everything we need. Well, we have everything we need except the internet, they won't be able to set that up for almost 2 weeks (I'll go into my rant about lack of customer service later) so right now we're in the business center of the apartment complex, so obviously I won't be able to share any pictures for at least that long. It's amazing how much we rely on that (now's when I'm wishing I let Wes get the Iphone).
Haley is cute as ever, her little face is getting quite chubby (makes me so proud) and besides a few sleepless nights (of course while Dad was gone and couldn't help me out) she's back to her regular sleeping great self.
We'll be in touch with everyone soon!

Been a While

Here are a few shots of our little Haley this past week. Items of note: she celebrated her 2 week birthday, she gained 9 oz., and she started to dislike her car seat.

On this particular day we had to go out and it happened to be one of the coldest days of the year, so we put on one of the warmest things she has that isn't way too big. I just love it, she slept through the whole outfit change, and this one wasn't easy.

Today was our last Sunday in the Vienna Ward so we thought we'd need to make the trip out for one last time (although I'm fully aware that her being not even 3 weeks old, I still had a good 2 weeks before I'd feel guilty about staying home).

This is the only dress that Haley fits into (trust me, we tried everything) and she was super cute today. She even has a bow to match that I thought looked really cute (thanks to Ashby). I was also surprised to put on these socks today and see that her feet fit them; she's growing already!

This is Haley with clean hair. She might not have my curly hair but she definitely has the frizz right out of the bath. After a day of this though, it gets quite settled.

Little Bunny

These little booties were the first thing we bought for little BG when we found out it was a girl.  When we got them I couldn't imagine having anything that would actually fit into them, little did I know that they would actually be too big her.  She's just precious; not sure if it translates into pictures or not, but if not, trust me, she's precious.
