Squeaky squeaks

I got these shoes on sale a while ago and yesterday we tried them on for the first time. For those not familiar with then, they're called "squeakers," for obvious reasons. The squeaky part of them can be removed, which we'll be doing shortly.

Going Private

I've thought for a little while that I should probably go private since I put so much info about our family on here, and I'm thinking it might be time (although I realize it's definitely not as convenient and our already sparse comments are likely to get even less).
If you would like an exclusive invitation to the Pierson Post leave a comment with the email address you'd like to use to log in and I'll add it (for those of you unfamiliar with this, it just means that you'll enter your email and a password to view the blog, to try to keep any weirdos from gathering info about us).  I'll delete the comments when I write it down so your email address isn't out in the open for long.
I'll make the switch in a couple of weeks.  Bummer but maybe necessary.

Dallas spring time

Haley and I decided that to enjoy the weather we needed to get an annual pass to the Dallas Arboretum.  It has beautiful gardens and periodic activities for toddlers, but mostly it just has open, green grass to run around all you want.  We went yesterday and as you can see she had a ball.

Her first time crawling in grass (not counting my placing her there last year at 6 months old).
She carried her sandwich everywhere, didn't eat it, just made sure she had it at all times.
This picture just proves to me that she's no longer a baby, doesn't she look so old?!

I love this weather!

Oh to be one

and have so much fun playing in whip cream and peaches.  In case you were wondering, it was intentional, the playing I mean.

Easter Egg "Hunt"

We use the word hunt loosely because it was just Haley looking for the eggs and they were placed in the middle of the grass or sidewalk, plus, looking for eggs was really secondary to taking pictures in her Easter dress (thanks Grammie Pierson!).
I love this one because she's doing one of her shy moments and she turned her head but her eyes are still looking.

On the "hunt"
She's figured out that there were little treats inside each one.
Here is where the treats are "all gone"
