Soooo Big

On Saturday Haley invited 6 of her closest friends over for her first "friends" party. We had all the most popular toys (cardboard boxes, blocks, balls, and ribbons) and the best tasting cupcake she's ever had, she's clearly loving it. Wes was sorely disappointed that she didn't come out of it needing a bath and I think I will never hear the end of her not having a chocolate cake.

Everyone always says it, but I really can't believe it's been a year.

Sometimes you turn one

and you have a great day.

First, you wake up to some amazing tasting Eggo waffles.
Then, you find the perfect play spot under the kitchen table.

Next, Mom and Dad take you to the park for a picnic.

Then, Dad plays with you in all of the toys at the playground.

And lets you slide down all by yourself for the very first time.

Last, and maybe the best part, is that Mom makes you your very favorite smoothie for a treat.

Opening Presents

This is a very long video that I'm posting mostly for grandparents and maybe a few aunts and uncles who find themselves with some extra time. Think of it as a psuedo family party.
