I don't have a lot to post about so let's discuss something that crossed my mind today, why are baby toys so weird? I was playing with Haley and she was grabbing this thing and I went to say, "grab your..." and I didn't know how to fill in the blank, so I came up with, "long legged dog with a mane and spots." (Just so everyone knows, I do know why they're brightly colored and all sensory but they're still weird.) I guess we'll rely on books to teach actual things like, "this is a monkey."Also, not really sure why my last few posts have words with decreasing size... that's weird too.

That's why we resorted to called Jakson's favorite cuddly item "animal" because we could never figure out what exactly it was supposed to be.
Did you make Haley's dress? So cute and I recognize the fabric from Hobby Lobby! :)
First off, Haley is adorable. Secondly, baby toys ARE super weird. Wyatt actually didn't even like normal toys until he turned about one...he only liked to play with measuring cups, syringes, toothbrushes, bottle caps, etc. So funny. Kids are SO funny.
You might have a long legged LION if it has a MANE, you know. :)
